As early as the first grade, Dwight Schuh
started reading outdoor magazines and by High School he knew he wanted
to be an outdoor writer. After three years in the Army, with one year of
it in Vietnam, Dwight came home and earned degrees in English and
Journalism; and by 1971, started out as a freelance writer and
photographer.
During those early years, much of his
writings were on bird hunting and fishing, but it wasn't long before his
writings turned to his first love - bowhunting. And he has since been
published and recognized nationwide for his writings.
All of this could not have come about if
Dwight wasn't also one of the nations top bowhunters. His respect as a
writer and bowhunter go hand-in-hand. Dwight has over the last 25 years
successfully bowhunted most every North American big game animal.
Besides writing eight books on archery, he has been featured in several
videos.
I'm sure the entire archery industry, and
his thousands of bowhunting friends join me, by saying, "Dwight, you
have now joined not only with others as a Bowhunting Lengend of the
Twentieth Century, you have now been officially inducted into the
Bowhunters Hall of Fame."
